The Swany SX-31 X-Change II Ski and Snowboard Mitten for men is a super warm, synthetic, insulated mitten designed to keep your hands comfortable, warm, and dry. The SX-31 X-Change II mitten is insulated with Swany's Triplex insulation technology. Triplex is a combination of three different weights of insulation to wrap your hand in perfect comfort, warmth, and performance. The outer shell of the SX-31 X-Change II mitten is constructed of Dryshell, a nylon and synthetic fabric that meets the highest standards of repellency, durability, and flexibility. The mitten has a Leathershield palm that is made of top grain leathers that were tanned for durability, water repellency and suppleness. The palm is reinforced with FlexShield, a stretch palm material that is cut and abrasion resistant, yet very flexible.
Swany's Tri-plex Insulation system is thicker on the back, thinner on the palm, and has flexible stretch on the sidewalls. In between the outer shell and the insulation Swany has included a Dryfinger II insert. This insert is a monolithic insert made of advanced polymers. It allows moisture to pass from the inside out. The molecular structure makes the insert 100% waterproof while allowing superior breathability. The mitten is then lined with SwanyDry lining, a soft woven synthetic lining material with hydrophilic moisture management properties designed to keep your hands warm, dry, and comfortable.
Convenience features include a uni-pull cuff, a easy one-hand pull-on cuff to tighten and release. The precurved construction minimizes drag and prevents excessive tip wear and tear. The mitten includes a utility pocket that can be used for a heat pack, for storing small articles, or as vent for cooling off and drying your hands.
