The Spyder Kyd's Original Insulator Jacket for girls is a quilted, water repellent, breathable, insulated jacket for milder weather or as a layer under a waterproof shell or jacket. The body of this jacket is waterproof and constructed by high count polyester taffeta with Spylon water repellent finish. Spylon is a durable water repellent finish (DWR) applied to the fabric exterior to prevent the garment from absorbing surface moisture. Spylon is a top-rated performer retaining 80% effectiveness after 20 washings. It also guards against water and oil-based stains.
The insulation in the body and sleeves is Spyder's own ThermaWeb 160gm which is an ultra-warm, high-loft insulation. The sleeves and hood are ThermaWeb 120 gm. ThermaWeb contains ultra-fine polyester fibers that trap and hold body heat. Color is Belize (Blue) with "SPYDER" across the front pocket).
