The Recycled Ski Adirondack Chair uses quality 40 year pressure treated southern yellow pine and is finished with durable exterior paints or stains providing years of trouble free ownership (typically, the wood used for these products needs to be seasoned or dried to a stable moisture content for twoħ weeks. Sometimes the lumber is curing when orders are placed so this could be a factor in shipping time). The reason this is done is so the furniture doesn't shrink, warp, twist, crack, etc. once it is assembled and finished. It may seem like a long time, but it really is important for quality!
Adirondack chair: over all height (tip of longest ski) is 53". Seat width varies from 21" to 22", depending on the skis used. Seat depth is consistent with a normal Adirondack chair - about 19-20 inches. Number of skis on the back can be from 5 to 7, again depending on the skis. The newer "fat" skis tend to use 6.
Ships with back off in two cartons. While we can't guarantee a specific brand of ski, we will work with the manufacturer to see if your preference is available. Indicate your brand of choice in the comment section of the order form.
