Noticeably warmer in winter downhill skiing with these on! I originally bought these for a friend's inexpensive clam shell boots that took in water through the front during Spring. These fixed that too! They can get tears on the insides from your ski edges and tears at the nylon strap sewn stress points after several uses. I use my wetsuit glue repair to extend the life on these. I still love them overall.
